Due later this month is the new Allison powered Yak 3 Russian built WWII fighter aircraft

This warbird was part of the Sir Tim Wallace collection in New Zealand and recently became available for purchase when Sir Tim decided to restructure his now famous airshow collection of vintage and warbird aircraft

The Beech 18 - last reported on these pages in November 1998 - is now operating out of Redcliffe Airport with vintage scenic flights around Moreton Bay including a city night flight experience

It has only taken about 5 years for the aircraft to be returned to service after spending most of this time undergoing maintenance here on Archerfield
