  • Week Three
  • New Aircraft Arrival

Just arrived this week is a new aerobatic aircraft from the Russian Republics

The small light weight single seat airframe, stressed to plus/minus 22 times the force of gravity, has for its power, a supercharged radial engine of 400hp and is fitted with airshow smoke as standard equipment

    • It's called an Su-31

The only drawback is the cost, ....but then you get what you pay for

For around 0.4m $ you have an aircraft so strong that its design failure limits are well beyond what the human body can stand as well as a roll rate in excess of 400 degrees each second - or about 70 aileron rolls per minute! - now that's bound to make your (and the bank managers) head spin!

  • It even has a very impressive stall/spin rate as well!
