Archerfield Operators Meet the Mobil Avgas Team
 
Mobil arranged for an open Forum last week at the RQAC conference room where the Mobil team faced a barrage of questions from the airfield maintenance organisations most of whom were represented at the meeting on the issue of compensation
 
This News Desk (and Mobil) was surprised to hear that a few operators were not aware of the compensation packages that were made available over the past few weeks with details released to the general public via the OZ news press and on their web site

Another item was the legality of OZ Airworthiness Directives and mandatory Service Bulletins issued by aircraft and component manufactures which is outside Mobil's jurisdiction
 
The emotional side of this issue surfaced with questions been raised relating as to what the future compensation might be "when" or "if" certain situations developed
