Bob Tait - well known for his Aviation Theory School - is relocating to more substantial premises at the "blue" building 221 on the northern side of the RQAC where he had been established for more than 10 years
 
The move coincides with Bob's introduction of computer-aided teaching and graphic presentation of his well respected teaching methods for the beginner pilot to the more serious commercial pilot and airline trainee types

The BUG Strikes - AF CTR Becomes MBZ on 118.1

  • Archerfield's control Tower will be non-operational on New Year's Day Saturday normally one of the busiest flying days in the week!

Now this News Desk is not suggesting that the reason for the closure was or is as a result of the "Y2K Millennium Bug"

  • It is more likely to be as a result of the "Big Party" after-effects and that of a "Brewer's" rather than a "Millennium"
