CASA Grounds Light Aircraft

The Mobil fuel contamination crisis deepened during the week with most of Archerfield's flying school's aircraft grounded by CASA
 
One flying school - the only one with their own maintenance workshop - has over recent years operated their training aircraft on Shell LL (low lead) avgas and therefor are not affected by the current fuel contamination issue and continue with their flying training operations as normal
 
The remaining schools on the airfield have a small number of selected aircraft still flying
