CASA's Flight Manual Requirements Under Attack

All OZ aircraft owners now have another problem to contend with

The aircraft Flight Manual - a previously mandatory requirement - is to be superseded by a new requirement as detailed on the CASA Web page HERE (view is PDF format) or HERE for an unofficial HTML version

At his own expense Boyd Munro sent out a notice to all 8500 affected aircraft owners here in OZ (details of aircraft owners available from the Government Web Page) on CASA's flight manual requirements which were to be effective on August 16 2000

Boyd also made details known on his airsafety.com.au web page highlighting the fact that aircraft owners face a potential fine of up to $5000 for not having the correct documentation on board their aircraft as in this new flight manual requirement

The latest reports from a reliable source now have CASA agreeing to extend the "out of date" time on flight manual requirements from one year to three!
