Week One
CASA at it AGAIN
Another Change for Aircraft Owners

As from the first of this month CASA has introduced a change in the way aircraft are to be registered with the introduction of a new Part 47 of the Civil Aviation Safety Regulations

Basically it states that if the operator of an aircraft is also the owner, then there is no change, however if someone else has operational control of the machine including maintenance then the owner is required by the regulation to transfer the registration of the aircraft to that operator by November 10 2000

CASA advise that the rights of ownership with the aircraft will not be affected by this new regulation
