Adelaide pilot Jon Johanson will return home today after completing a solo flight around the world over the North Pole
 
Jon left Adelaide on May 16 in his homebuilt aircraft on his third round the world trip flying via the United States - Canada - Europe - the UK and Africa
 
The replica Southern Cross aircraft will join him on the last leg of his flight from Noarlunga south of Adelaide to Parafield Airport in Adelaide's north where he is expected to land about 11:30am ACST today
