While pilots were away overnight on Friday June 8,
a number of cars parked near Archerfield's main terminal were broken into, which will
create an unpleasant situation for owner/pilots returning Monday after enjoying the
             Raglan Air Show

            | During the week Boeing, manufacturer of the 737

inspections and tests, and notified the FAA who in turn called in the FBI

            | Light Aircraft Safety in News

            | The OZ Government has finally acknowledged that
the light aircraft accident rate here in OZ is unacceptably high after claiming a short
while ago that it was "twice as good as the rest of the world"!
This week's issue of QLD's Sunday Mail has a report on air safety - viewable HERE - indicating a different outlook from that of it's sister paper the Courier
Mail (editorial comment 4 months ago) by reporting the article as orchestrated by the government

            | The Australian Transport Safety Bureau's report
on general aviation safety mentions that the general aviation fatal accident rate here in
OZ has declined from 1.41 fatal accidents per 100 000 flight hours in 1990 to 1.00 fatal
accidents per 100 000 flight hours in 2000
This conflicts with CASA's view that aviation safety a
short while ago was  "twice as
good  as USA/Canada" or more recently,
              "twice as bad
as USA/Canada"  which one is correct?
