Mid-air Collision in USA

 March 17 
A military Pilatus Porter single engine turboprop aircraft used by the US Army's Golden Knight's parachute team has been involved in a fatal mid-air collision with a civilian Cessna C182 aircraft in Arizona

The Cessna landed without serious damage but the pilot in the Porter lost his life when the damaged aircraft impacted the terrain after all parachutists had exited the aircraft prior to the collision

Chris Sperou Grounded

OZ Aerobatic champion - Chris Sperou - was intending to fly his normal aerobatic routine in his Pitts at the Clipsal 500 car race at Adelaide last week-end when at the last minute he was grounded by the 'anti-aviation' CASA
