 February 22 
An ultralight pilot who departed Warwick airport in extremely poor weather conditions intent on flying to Boonah south of Archerfield finished up a statistic when he impacted Mount Cordeaux on the range near Cunningham's Gap

SAR-Time Cancellation Confusion

 February 25 
Search and Rescue were alerted after the pilot of a Cessna 210 failed to cancel his SAR time for arrival at Hall's Creek in central OZ late Monday

The young professional pilot did not carry a GPS nor a satellite phone and was unable to cancel his SAR by normal methods due to the remoteness of the station property

Bush Fires Claim another Aircraft

A fixed-wing agricultural aircraft, a Dromader M18, assisting ground crews to control bush fire "hot-spots" crashed during manoeuvres severely injuring the pilot
