PA-34 Undergoing Pilot Refresher Flying Damaged - Flown Back to Archerfield

August 4
It would appear to this News Desk that CASA and it's employees do take notice of the comments recorded in these Pages

As mentioned in
Week One of last month Archerfield was "short on crashes" with little or no crash repair work available

...well now things have changed

Thanks to an advanced pilot training aircraft handling error by those who help set the air-flying regulations repair work has been created for maintenance personnel at YBAF

A Seneca twin flown by CASA employees on a "pilot refresher" flight apparently bounced or did a 'porpoise' during a landing at Coolangatta airport with both propellers making contact with the runway surface

The aircraft was then flown back to Archerfield with the two pilots on board apparently unaware of the damage sustained to the propeller tips
