A number of local pilots and Maintenance Engineering Workshops at Archerfield have objected to the draft "Master Plan" to be submitted by the airport operator for Government approval
 
The Locals are concerned that the airfield will be turned into a non-aviation "Industrial Park" - the Plan appears not honour the original concept of an airport when purchased in 1998 - the majority of the "leased" ground back then was set aside specifically for aviation
