 Perth Family on Joy-Flight over Kimberley Area Escape Unharmed

Broome based charter operator - King Leopold Air's Cessna C210 with 5 POB on a joy flight over the Kimberley region - had a total engine failure and finished up making an emergency landing on a remote cattle property in West OZ
 
A Perth family of four - 2 adults and 2 children were able to walk away from the wreckage of the C210 - the pilot is reported to have sustained a minor ankle injury

Darling Downs Soaring Club Glider Pilot Lost in Out-Field Landing Accident

A 39-year-old Caboolture glider pilot operating out of McCaffrey's airstrip near Jondaryan west of Toowoomba on the Darling Downs was killed in an out-field landing accident around 1600hrs Saturday

The glider impacted into a sorghum field about 12km south east of Dalby "...the pilot picked this spot to land and done a number of manoeuvres to get himself into place and basically fell out of the sky"
