Kenya Airways Boeing 737-800 with 114 POB Lost En-route to Nairobi

A relativity new Kenyan operated Boeing 737 is reported missing on a flight from Douala in Cameroon to Nairobi - contact with the aircraft was lost 11 minutes after departure

The departure had been delayed due heavy rain - poor weather conditions hampered the search operations which eventually located the aircraft wreckage in swampland in south-west Cameroon

 
It was more than 36 hours after it was reported missing before search crews were able to locate the aircraft
