Cattle Muster in West OZ turns Fatal with Loss of Pilot and Helicopter

The pilot of a cattle mustering helicopter has been killed during a muster on Doongan Station about 150km west of Wyndham in the remote Kimberley area of West OZ

 
The 37-year-old male - the only person on board - died when the rotary-winged machine (possibly a Robbo R22) impacted the ground during the muster

Fairchild Metroliner in Engine-Out Emergency Landing at Whyalla in South OZ

September 26  2007
A Fairchild Metroliner en route (from Adelaide?) to Olympic Dam in South OZ with 17 passengers on board had to divert to Whyalla Airport when one of its engines failed

 
The pilot of the twin-engine prop-jet noticed a warning light had come on indicating one of the turbine engines was overheating - the landing at Whyalla was uneventful
