Perth Airport in Emergency Closure over Four Suspect Packages

 Perth's international airport was shut down for around 12 hours while emergency services were called to examine some "suspicious" packages

 


A Malaysian Airlines flight had landed with what appeared to be 4 unusual packages on board

 
Airline passengers were extremely inconvenienced by flight delays and cancellations

The airport was evacuated around 1800 hours Saturday and reopened around 0530 Sunday
