Survival of Secondary Airports in OZ in Delicate Balancing Act

General aviation activity at most of the major secondary airports in OZ appears to be on the brink of collapse due in part to inept bureaucratic bungling over the past decade supported by boneless politicians coupled with meaningless government inquiries and ineffective local airport committees along with government policy negativeness supported by hamstrung aviation regulations

Operators and several ex-operators from Bankstown airport - which was "sold" by the Federal Government to Bankstown Airport Limited around 9 years ago - are fed up with the current situation and want positive government action to stop the airport declining into an industrial warehouse park - the current severe worldwide economic recession only adds to this demise of GA
