 NT's Arnhem Land Light Aircraft Prang - The 2nd in 3 Days 


Media reports have 2 men on board a single-engine light aircraft escaping injury after it crash-landed at the Gapuwiyak airstrip in NT's Arnhem Land

Apparently the landing gear failed to engage and after landing the unidentified aircraft ran off the end of runway and struck a boundary fence

 Honeymooning Couple Survive Light Aircraft Accident near Camden 


The recently married couple - both aged 26 - suffered only minor injuries when the unidentified aircraft they were in ended up crashing into a paddock off Northern Road in Bringelly near Camden in Sydney's west

The couple were returning from their honeymoon - media reports have the aircraft extensively damaged - "it was a fairly nasty wreck and it was amazing that they managed to walk out of the plane"

 MAF GA8 Airvan and Pilot Lost in Arnhem Land 


A Mission Aviation Fellowship pilot along with the OZ designed and built GA8 Airvan has been lost off the coast of Arnhem Land in the NT after wreckage from the downed aircraft was located in Buckingham Bay about 20km south-east of Elcho Island

The 23-year-old pilot of the Airvan was delivering fuel supplies to indigenous communities in the area - it is the Mission's first fatal accident since the mid 1970's when MAF started in the area with a fleet of about a dozen aircraft

 Whitney Boomerang Lands in Kiwi-Land after 17 hours Flying 


Kiwi media reports have the Whitney Boomerang - that had departed Archerfield two weeks ago - attending the Avex Expo at Mystery Creek in Hamilton - the events centre is along side the airport and within taxiing distance

The DW 200 first landed at Kerikeri after flying-in from Norfolk Island where the aircraft was inspected and cleared by Customs before landing at Ardmore and then continuing on to Hamilton Airport
