MISSING ROBBO CHOPPER LOCATED IN WEST OZ

Police and emergency services personnel are on their way to what appears to be the location of a Robinson R-22 helicopter that was reported missing on a flight from Newman to a Station near Onslow last night

Aircraft wreckage has been sighted from the air around 40kms south of Wyloo station - the pilot was the only person on board

CHOPPER PILOT BATED BY CROC IN THE NT - ROBBO SNARED

The pilot and passenger of the 2-seat Robinson R-22 were looking at crocodiles around 50 kilometres south-west of Darwin when the helicopter suddenly crashed onto mud flats about 100 metres from shore

The chopper pilot escaped injury and was able to call for help on a satellite phone after he found that his passenger had suffered very serious injuries

CALOUNDRA'S AIR MUSEUM OPEN COCKPIT DAY JULY 4-5th 2009

The Queensland Air Museum at Caloundra Airport in SE QLD - known for it's extensive collection of OZ historic aircraft including a Spitfire - is holding an "Open Cockpit Day" on the week-end of July 4-5th

Entry is $9.00 for adults - family $22.00 - and an additional $5.00 if you want to sit in the cockpit of the museum's Spitfire for a photo take
