PILOT INJURED IN EMERGENCY LANDING SOUTH OF PERTH

Media reports have a light aircraft with one person on board carrying out an emergency landing at Serpentine about 60km south of Perth

Police reports indicate the pilot escaped with serious but not life-threatening injuries - the aircraft type - home-built or production - is not identified

Two media reports have the pilot as a 71-year-old and/or a 31-year-old who sustained serious injuries

Aircraft was a Jabiru ultralight that flipped over during the forced landing due to an apparent engine failure

CESSNA 206 EXTENSIVILY DAMAGED BY CESSNA 207 IN THE NT

Police report that both aircraft were on the ground at Gunbalanya about 130 nm east-north-east of Darwin when one of the local charter pilots accidentally 'knocked' the propeller during a pre-start inspection that resulted in the engine of the unsecured C207 suddenly starting...

"The pilot was breath-tested but returned a negative alcohol reading"

CESSNA 206 EMERGENCY LANDING ON PRIVATE AIRSTRIP IN NSW

A ferry pilot transferring a Cessna C206 from New Zealand to Coffs Harbour had a fuel supply problem approaching the OZ mainland and was forced to land at a private airstrip near South West Rocks south of Coffs

The pilot issued a mayday call when the engine stopped alerting the local emergency response teams - the landing was successful
