AEROMEDICAL PA-31P CRASHES ONTO STREET IN SYDNEY'S WEST

Two people have been killed when an Aeromedical aircraft crashed into power poles and then fell to the ground bursting into flames at the intersection of Canley Vale Road and Sackville St. in Sydney's south-west in what appears to be a flight originating from Bankstown Airport

A witness reported that he saw the aircraft about 300 metres away hit one electric power-pole and then a second and then 70 to 80 metres later it fell to the ground - there were two explosions a few minutes apart which engulfed the machine and the two occupants

HELICOPTER PILOT LOST IN CATTLE MUSTERING ACCIDENT

A young West OZ pilot has died after the R-22 helicopter he was flying impacted the ground and burst into flames during a cattle muster at the Mt. Barnett station in the Kimberleys

WA Police have advised that another helicopter pilot associated with the muster landed near the crashed machine and was able to confirm the fate of the 23-year-old Halls Creek pilot
