FOX GLACIER SKYDIVE ADVENTURE ACCIDENT CLAIMS 9-LIVES

A turbine-powered Fletcher FU24 with a full load of skydivers on board has crashed and burnt at the Skydive New Zealand's Fox Glacier airstrip killing all 9 persons on board


“it was taking off and it took off too early and … it just did a loop and came down and crashed”


An 18-year-old Australian male was one of 4 tourists on board

QLD GOVERNMENT PROCLAIMS CABOOLTURE AIRPORT STAYS

The Caloundra Aerodrome on QLD's Sunshine Coast has been saved from closure after intense lobbying from local operators who presented a petition signed by 5000 people to the State Government and an ultimatum given by the local council

“This must be a great relief for the many business’s which are located there as well as the iconic Queensland Air Museum and the Air Cadets who also occupy the site"
