 GYROCOPTER INSTRUCTOR & STUDENT SURVIVE NIGHT SWIM IN WEST OZ 


A gyrocopter instructor and his student pilot have been reported in the media as lucky to be alive after they had to swim to shore when their ultralight gyrocopter crashed into the sea and overturned in Exmouth Gulf off Western Australia's Gascoyne region around last light Monday



Police report the pair were uninjured after their 2km swim in the dark

 PILOTS OBJECT TO NEW MASTER PLAN FOR ARCHERFIELD AIRPORT 


The Archerfield Airport Chamber of Commerce Inc. have advised members that the next general meeting is to be held at the Coopers Colonial Motor Inn Beaudesert Road Acacia Ridge at 1900hrs on Wednesday 13th April 2011 - the President is to report on the results from action taken on Archerfield's Preliminary Draft Master Plan 2011-2031

 ULTRALIGHT PILOT INJURED FLYING THE SAND DUNES IN WEST OZ 


An ultralight pilot has been injured after his machine crashed at Black Point near Cervantes on the West coast of OZ about 250kms north of Perth



The male pilot suffered back and leg injuries and was airlifted to the Royal Perth Hospital by the RAC rescue helicopter
