 QLD MINE WORKER ON WAY TO WORK IN CESSNA 210 FOUND DECEASED 


49-year-old mine worker and pilot - Darryl Marsh - had departed from Roma Airport at 1450hrs Wednesday in his single-engine Cessna C210 on his scheduled two-hour trip to the Central Queensland mining town of Dysart but had failed to arrive



The Australian Maritime Safety Authority initiated an air search Thursday morning and found the crashed Cessna around 100kms north of Roma - the pilot was deceased



Daughter of the pilot - Anita Dwyer said "..her father regularly flew himself to work returning to his Roma home during his time off"

 PILOT TRAINING HELICOPTER DAMAGED AT MOORABBIN AIRPORT IN VICTORIA 


A 2-seater helicopter has been seriously damaged during a pilot training exercise at Moorabbin airport late Monday



The Schweizer 269C-1 rolled over and struck the ground during what appears to be a landing sequence



"The two occupants were uninjured but the helicopter was seriously damaged"

 EMERGENCY LANDING ON GOLF COURSE 
 ROCKWELL 114 TAKE-OFF PRANG 


A self-launching glider made an emergency landing on the Port Kennedy Golf Course south of Perth to-day after an apparent engine problem



The Sportavia Putzer RF4 landed successfully



The pilot - who was the only person on board - was uninjured


The pilot of a Rockwell 114 lost control and veered off the runway during take-off at Meekatharra Airport in West OZ



The RC-114 came to rest amongst some trees adjacent to the runway



There were no reported injuries but the aircraft was seriously damaged
