 DH-82 TIGER MOTH GOES TO SCHOOL ON QLD's SUNSHINE COAST 


A vintage DH-82 Tiger Moth has made an emergency landing on the Currimundi State School sports oval after what appears to be an engine or fuel related problem

 LOCKYER VALLEY AIRPORT GETS THE NOD FROM GOVERNMENT HEAVIES 


As mentioned in the AirCentre News report of last month - the Lockyer Valley Regional Airport was launched today in Gatton with Randal McFarlane as the MC



"We will begin construction of the project early in 2012 and we would expect completion by the end of the year - Our total investment in runways and other associated facilities is $10 million while another $20 million will be spent on private hangars" built on the freehold land at the airport

 GYROCOPTER CRASH IN WEST OZ INJURES OWNER-BUILDER-PILOT 


The builder-pilot of a gyrocopter suffered serious injuries after the rotary-wing flying machine he was operating crashed in East Beverley around 140km east of Perth



Police and the St John Ambulance along with the FESA and the RAC Rescue Helicopter attended the scene to render assistance
