Archerfield pilots are challenging the recent "Master Plan" for Archerfield Airport issued by the airport operator - Archerfield Airport Corporation which is owned by Miengrove Ply Ltd a private company associated with Gavin Bird - over the perceived and blatant grab of "aviation use" land by reducing the size of airport runways and replacing it with industrial real-estate

The three Piper PA-31 charter aircraft that were offered up for auction at Bankstown Airport last Saturday were withdrawn by the auctioneer "DUE TO LEGAL REASONS.." just prior to the event
