The pilot of a rotary-wing aircraft has died in unknown circumstances when the unnamed flying machine he was operating crashed on Dalgonally Station about 74km north-west of Julia Creek in central QLD



Update:

The Australian Transport Safety Bureau have advised that the aircraft was a Robinson R22 helicopter - registered VH-DSD - the pilot was conducting mustering operations at the time of the crash
