A Cessna 182 chartered by what appears to be the QLD Fire Service for a fire spotting operation in the Charleville area made a successful emergency landing at Toowoomba airport around 1800hrs yesterday after problems with the nose-wheel

All three persons on board were uninjured but "badly shaken"

This Cessna's nose-wheel drama makes four light aircraft undercarriage malfunctions in just 10 days - refer to the LAST WEEK link below

QUEENSLANDERS LOVE TO FLY - HERE'S ONE REASON WHY

Moving house or moving an aircraft should be a relativity simple process - give transport company details - get quote then agree on a time and place ...but if it's about a light aircraft

How about 2-hours late AND the expected 4-tonne tilt-tray truck that was agreed on turned into a 22-tonne low-loader monster

That vehicle was unable to complete the job as required which was only finished after lots of physical effort was expended in what should have been a relatively simple operation

So if you're young and contemplating a career in either the automotive or aviation industries AND you think you have some intelligence and basic management skills why not try the latter

There is a good reason why people like to fly
