 P-51 REPLICA MUSTANG IN WHEELS-UP LANDING AT DEVONPORT 


A recreational pilot test flying his home-built replica P-51 Mustang aircraft out of TasPorts Devonport Airport had the undercarriage 'lock-up' forcing the pilot to make an emergency 'wheels-up' landing on the grass adjacent to the main runway in use


The landing was successful - the 60-year-old Tasmanian pilot was uninjured

 CHEETAH 200 ULTRALIGHT HITS FERRIS WHEEL NEAR TAREE IN NSW 


Police have reported that an ultralight aircraft has crashed into a Ferris Wheel at Old Bar near Taree on the central coast of NSW


The Cheetah S200 with 2-persons on board is suspended in the Ferris Wheel along with 2-persons on the Wheel - the Manning Great Lakes Local Area Command personnel have responded to remove the occupants from the ultralight and Ferris Wheel - there are no injuries
