APPARENT LOSS OF CONTROL IN 3 SPIN-TYPE ACCIDENTS CLAIM 4-LIVES

Over the past 3-weeks the News Desk has reported on an unusually high number of fatal light aircraft accidents wherein the prime cause of the crash appears to be a loss-of-control just prior to impact

 NEWS DESK OBSERVATION

The loss-of-control appears to be associated with stall-spin recovery technique and can only highlight a fault in the modern training of pilots and the associated flying regulations

Example - on March 20th a flying school instructor and his student perished in an ultralight stall 'spin-type' accident north Bundaberg

and

On Mach 30th a very experienced Qantas pilot died after he apparently lost control of his Europa after the engine failed shortly after take-off at Caboolture

And then was another loss yesterday
