Sunshine Coast Skydivers are mourning the loss of one of their members to-day who was fatally injured during a routine jump at Caloundra

 ULTRALIGHT CRASH ON CAPE YORK PENINSULA CLAIMS LIFE OF PILOT 

QLD Police have advised that the pilot of an ultralight has died after the unidentified flying machine he was in crashed in unknown circumstances on a station property 100kms east of Pormpuraaw

Formerly known as the "Edward River Aboriginal Mission" Pormpuraaw is an Aboriginal community situated on the west coast of Cape York around half way between Karumba and Weipa

 ULTRALIGHT STALL-SPIN ACCIDENT INJURES TWO IN SOUTH OZ 

Two men have escaped serious injury after the high-wing ultralight registered aircraft they were in impacted the ground about 7km north of Gawler in South OZ

"An SA Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the men - one believed to be aged in his 50s and the other in his 60s - suffered minor injuries"

 CHAMBER OF COMMERCE CHALLENGES AIRPORT MASTER PLAN APPROVAL 

Recent approval of the updated master-plan for Archerfield Airport by the Federal Minister of Transport has struck a raw nerve in most of the aviators who operate into and out-of Archerfield over perceived safety issues - the Archerfield Chamber of Commerce has challenged the Government approval in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal where the pilots and operators can have their side of case heard

"...the Archerfield Airport Chamber of Commerce Inc ('AACCI') commenced proceedings against the Federal Infrastructure and Transport Minister (Mr Anthony Albanese) in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal of the Federal Court ('AAT') to have the recent decision of Minister Albanese in approving the 2011-2031 Master Plan for Archerfield Airport to be set aside"
