 SKYDIVE CESSNA DAMAGED IN FORCED LANDING IN THE WHITSUNDAYS 


A Cessna 182 operated by Skydive Airlie Beach was forced to carry out an emergency landing on the Shute Harbour Road in the Whitsundays after it apparently ran out of fuel on a trip from Townsville to the Shute Harbour airstrip


The two on board - the pilot and his dog - were uninjured - the aircraft was not as lucky

 FATAL R44 HELICOPTER CRASH NEAR NOWRA CLAIMS TWO LIVES 


Media have reported on a helicopter that crashed and burst into flames while it was trying to take-off at the Jaspers Brush airport north of Nowra in NSW


The 2-men on board the 4-seat Robinson R44 had departed Bankstown earlier and were en-route to Jervis Bay when they apparently stopped at Jaspers to refuel

 AIRCRAFT OWNER JAILED OVER TRANSPORT OF ILLICIT DRUGS 


Two men that were caught for trafficking in illicit drugs by using a light aircraft to fly the drugs from Sydney's Bankstown Airport to Perth's Jandakot Airport on March 5 2008 have both been jailed for 15 years


A black sports bag containing 30kg of drugs was found on the twin-engined Piper Aztec after it had landed at Jandakot


"Both men will be eligible for parole after 13 years behind bars"
