A professional helicopter pilot in FNQ - John Quadrio - has told CASA that he would prefer to pursue a future outside the aviation industry rather than waste more of his limited time and resources in trying to prove to officials that he’s a “fit and proper person” to hold a commercial pilot licence after the Authority cancelled his licence over a YouTube video that was posted on the Internet


"Considering the levels of unfitness and impropriety which various of your officials have displayed at almost every stage of the process, I see no value in facing, once again, the task of trying to convince those same officials that they should change the perception they have spent so much time and public money promoting"
