 PILOT TRAINING TWIN IN WHEELS-UP LANDING AT JANDAKOT IN WEST OZ 

A 68-year-old male flying instructor along with his 25-year-old male student pilot sustained only minor injuries after the twin-engine PA-34 Piper Seneca they were in was unable to extend the undercarriage for landing at Perth's Jandakot airport

The twin-trainer sustained minor damage after landing on the grass alongside the runway - the two on board were treated by a couple of St John's Ambulance crews who just happened to be at the airport when the aircraft landed

 ARCHERFIELD AIRPORT MASTER PLAN OBJECTION IN PUBLIC MEETING 

The Archerfield Airport Chamber of Commerce Inc has requested aircraft owners and pilots and those with any connection to aviation or users of Archerfield Airport to attend a couple of meetings on November 7th over Minister Albanese's approval of the 2011-2031 Archerfield Airport Master Plan

The "approved" master plan is currently under review in the Federal Administrative Appeals Tribunal

Initial meeting at the Coopers Colonial Motor Inn 1260 Beaudesert Road at 1630hrs and then an open general public meeting at the South's Sports Club at Brandon Park at 1700hrs

 PILOT OF P-51 MUSTANG REPLICA KILLED IN CRASH AT HELIDON SPA 

A 52-year-old pilot of a P-51 Mustang replica - Terry Kronk - has been killed after his experimental single-seater had the engine fail on take-off from the Emu Gully airstrip at Helidon Spa in the Lockyer Valley

The airstrip at Emu Gully Adventure Education Park is best known for hosting the country's largest annual Anzac re-enactment festival - the kit-based experimental "..crashed off Twidales Road"

 RINGER UNINJURED IN MUSTERING HELICOPTER PRANG IN CENTRAL OZ 

The pilot of a cattle mustering helicopter was lucky to escape uninjured when the R22 Robbo he was flying impacted the water of a salt lake near Lake Eyre

The ATSB have reported that the rotary-wing ..."collided with water and submerged" around 92-km north-west of Innamincka in South OZ
