 PILOT UNINJURED IN JABIRU ULTRALIGHT ENGINE FAILURE IN WEST OZ 

The pilot of an ultralight registered Jabiru escaped with only scratches after the recently purchased aircraft he was in suffered an engine failure over inhospitable terrain - the OZ designed and built ultralight ..."suffered major structural damage"

The 'middle-aged' pilot was able to carry out a successful forced landing on the bank of the Wungong Dam in Bedfordale around 45km south-east of Perth - "the pilot had bought the $30,000 aircraft that morning from a deceased estate"

 RQAC CESSNA 172 DEMOLISHED IN FORCED LANDING NEAR ARCHERFIELD 

A 46-year-old student pilot on a solo training exercise escaped serious injury after the aircraft he was flying apparently suffered an engine failure forcing the beginner pilot to land in a paddock in the southern training area

It appears from images available that one of the wings hit the ground during the landing of the Aero Club operated C172 cartwheeling the Cessna until it stopped - the pilot sustained a broken leg and facial lacerations
