 RINGER DIES IN CATTLE MUSTERING HELICOPTER PRANG IN WEST OZ 

A 40-year-old helicopter pilot has died after the R22 helicopter he was flying in company with another Robbo crashed into a gorge after clipping the side of the ravine where the pair had stopped for a swim on a remote pastoral station in the Kimberley region of Western Australia


The accident occurred on Louisa Downs Station midway between Fitzroy Crossing and Halls Creek

The R22 was one of 41-helicopters operated by Milton Joneses Darwin-based Northern Australian Helicopters - "...one of the (two) helicopters has crashed and ..the pilot of this aircraft may have died as a result"


Milton Jones remains under investigation by CASA over uncut footage of a TV program "Keeping Up With the Joneses" that was aired a few years ago

 CLASSIC VINTAGE DH-84 MISSING WITH 6 PERSONS ON BOARD NEAR KILCOY 

A search is underway for a missing 1934 De-Havilland DH-84 Dragon bi-plane that has failed to arrive at it's destination airport of Caboolture after departing Monto earlier

"It is believed there is one pilot and five passengers on board - the search is focusing on the Imbil - Kilcoy area west of the Sunshine Coast"
