Victorian Police have advised of a light aircraft crash in which at least one person has died when a Cessna C172 hit power-lines on approach to land at a private airstrip at Bagshot north of Bendigo

"The single engine aircraft with three men on board left Coldstream this morning and was preparing to land at a private air strip ..it hit a power line before it crashed and burst into flames"
