 MOTORISED PARAGLIDER PRANG ON BRIBIE ISLAND CLAIMS LIFE OF PILOT 

A 29-year-old pilot of a motorised parachute has lost his life after the paraglider he was operating crashed into the sand north of Woorim Beach on Bribie Island in QLD after an apparent engine failure

Witnesses on the beach reported seeing the motorised paraglider lose power and spiral to the ground "...CPR was in progress before we (QLD Ambulance) got there but he was deceased"
