QLD Police have reported on an ultralight aircraft crash at Bundaberg that seriously injured the pilot of the as yet unidentified ultralight after an apparent engine failure

"The 60-year-old pilot and sole occupant was trapped in the plane but later freed and transported to the Bundaberg Base Hospital in a serious but stable condition"

QLD Police have reported on Piper PA-28 that suffered an engine failure at night with the pilot carrying out an emergency landing into a paddock near the Mitchell Highway around 11km north-west of Cunnamulla

The pilot - a 29-year-old Springsure man - sustained some head injuries whilst his 30-year-old female passenger had only minor injuries - both were taken to the Cunnamulla hospital for treatment
