 EMERGENCY LANDING AFTER ENGINE MALFUNCTION DEPARTING CALOUNDRA 

All three persons on board a Beechcraft A-36 escaped relatively unscathed after the aircraft they were in experienced some type of engine malfunction shortly after departing Caloundra airport in QLD

The single-engine A-36 crashed on Friday afternoon ..."They all walked away from the crash. One of the passengers had a bruised knee but the other passenger and pilot weren't injured at all"

 BIRDSVILLE RACES CLAIM LIGHT AIRCRAFT - PIPER ARROW RETRACTABLE 

The ATSB has commenced an investigation involving a Piper Arrow that 'bounced' on landing at the Birdsville Aerodrome

"During landing the aircraft bounced and exited the runway surface resulting in substantial damage"

 PILOT SERIOUSLY INJURED IN MUSTERING HELICOPTER ACCIDENT IN THE NT 

The ATSB has commenced an investigation into a Robinson R22 helicopter accident, which occurred 70 km SW of Lake Nash, NT after the rotary-wing impacted the ground

"...the pilot - 34-year-old Shane Templeton who was a contractor - sustained serious head injuries after his chopper struck the ground during take-off after refuelling"
