PILOT KILLED IN SOLO NIGHT TRAINING EXERCISE AT HAMILTON IN VICTORIA

A 20-year-old pilot carrying out solo night training circuits from Hamilton airport in Victoria has died after the Cessna 182R he was flying crashed into a paddock north of the main runway in unknown circumstances

"Hamilton Aero Club president Kelvin Rogers said it was the first local air fatality in more than 25 years - The young pilot (from NSW) was involved in night flying training with Sharp Aviation"

PILOT UNINJURED IN TIGER MOTH LANDING MISHAP AT SANDY BEACH AIRSTRIP

The pilot of a DH-82A Tiger Moth has escaped injury after his vintage bi-plane ended up inverted on landing at a private airstrip west of Sandy Beach in NSW

"A plane has come into land on a private airstrip and it's flipped onto it's roof when it's touched the ground ..the pilot was out and is okay"
