PILOT AND PASSENGER SURVIVE JABIRU EMERGENCY LANDING AT RUNCORN

Two men in their 50's escaped with only minor injuries after the ultralight registered Jabiru they were in had the engine fail when returning to Archerfield after a flight to Stradbroke Island

"Emergency services were called to the scene near the corner of Nathan Road and Dew Street in Runcorn ...Two men in their 50s have been taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital"

CESSNA 182 WIRE-STRIKE CLAIMS LIFE OF BURRUMBUTTOCK PILOT

NSW Police have advised that a pilot of a 1968 Cessna 182 has died after the aircraft he was flying crashed into a paddock at Burrumbuttock around 30km north of Albury

..."It is believed the aircraft struck powerlines about 5.40pm before coming down in a paddock about 100 metres from the Farmer’s Inn hotel"
