JUNIOR PILOT ESCAPES SERIOUS INJURY IN FORCED LANDING NEAR NOWRA

A 22-year-old pilot of a 1976 Cessna C206 survived a forced landing into scrub country near Nowra after the engine failed when en-route from Cootamundra to Bankstown in NSW in what appears to be a 'solo' pilot training navigation exercise

"It is believed the man, who was the sole occupant of the plane, was following a flight plan set out for him by a flight instructor and was travelling from Cootamundra to Bankstown when he suffered engine failure ...minor injuries ...cut above his eye"

OZ AVIATORS TAKE TO THE ROAD OVER REGULATORY AUTHORITY'S MINDSET

Two aviators are on their way to Canberra to air their grievances on the malfeasance within in OZ aviation regulatory body that has created a huge amount of interest in the OZ aviation media

The pilots "...will arrive in Canberra this weekend after having driven from Cairns displaying a billboard outlining CASA sins and collecting horror stories from pilots as they go"

PILOT KILLED AFTER RV-6 HOME-BUILT IMPACTS HOUSE AT CHELSEA IN VIC

A 'mature-age' pilot of an RV-6A home-built has lost his life after the aircraft he was flying crashed into a house at Chelsea in Melbourne's south-east after an apparent engine failure

"...there was a stall of the engine and it's come down and collided with a corner of a house and ended up in a laneway behind that house"
No one on the ground was injured
