MICROLIGHT PILOT SERIOUSLY INJURED IN ACCIDENT AT TOODYAY IN WA

A 48-year-old microlight pilot was seriously injured after the weight-shift controlled powered trike he was flying impacted the ground a few kilometres north of Toodyay in West OZ

A farm worker at the scene "...said he believed the man had come into contact with power lines"

NASA GAS BALLOON EMERGENCY LANDING IN OUTBACK OZ

A huge helium inflated balloon - launched by NASA USA from Wanaka Airport in Kiwi Land over 30-days ago - has crash-landed in north-west NSW near the QLD border
The payload carried weighed 2.2 tonne

It stayed aloft for more than 30 days until controllers brought it down “over a remote area near the Queensland and New South Wales border just east of Australia’s Sturt National Park"
