AG-CAT PILOT SURVIVES CROP-DUSTER CRASH SOUTH OF CANBERRA

A 49-year-old 'nice-bloke' pilot of Grumman Ag-Cat escaped serious injury after the crop-duster bi-plane he was flying crashed in unknown circumstances south of Canberra

"The male pilot was taken to the Calvary Hospital for observation and discharged late on Thursday evening" - "It's just not what you expect at all especially to such a nice bloke"

BUSH PILOT SURVIVES FORCED LANDING IN REMOTE AREA OF WEST OZ

A 48-year-old pilot of a 1964 Cessna C210 - Peter Lacy - survived a forced landing in a remote area of West OZ after the retractable-undercarriage aircraft he was flying had an apparent mechanical issue that necessitated a forced landing into scrub country in the Mid-West of WA

"I had to walk because nobody knew where I was, so I walked for 25kms into where I knew some hills were ..able to ring for help from there" While walking (at night) he was harassed by dingoes "There was about three or four of them sort of circling me while I was walking along"
