REPLICA SPITFIRE DAMAGED IN TAKE-OFF CRASH AT TOOGOOLAWAH FLY-IN

The pilot of a replica Spitfire escaped uninjured after the scale warbird he was flying crashed during take-off at the Toogoolawah airstrip west of Archerfield

"The Gathering of Eagles - Australia fly-in at Watts Bridge is an incentive of the Australian Aerobatic Club Queensland Chapter based on the airfield"
