 FATAL DH-82 TIGER MOTH CRASH AT NORWELL NORTH OF GOLD COAST 

A 58-year-old male passenger on board a DH-82A Tiger Moth has died after the vintage bi-plane he was in crashed after an apparent engine failure departing a private airstrip at Norwell north of the Gold Coast

The 21-year-old pilot was seriously injured and flown by helicopter to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane with spinal injuries
"The aircraft was found upside down"
