The pilot of an ultralight registered sea-plane will no doubt be 'spitting-chips' after failing to carry out a successful water landing near the Tangalooma Resort on Moteton Island in S-E QLD

SOVIET ERA YAK-18 IN FORCED LANDING NEAR JACOBS WELL IN S-E QLD

The 68-year-old pilot of a Yak-18 along with his female passenger escaped with only minor injuries after the 'experimental' registered aircraft they were in had an apparent engine failure and was forced to land into a paddock at Woongoolba

"A female occupant was injured but taken to the PA as a precaution"
