 PILOT AND INSTRUCTOR KILLED DURING ENDORSEMENT TRAINING 

A private pilot "student" along with his instructor on ultralights were killed after the Brumby 600 aircraft they were in crashed in unknown circumstance near Lancefield north of Melbourne

"The student was a man from Sydney who already had a flying licence ..He was changing his licence from VH to light aircraft ..I thought it was doing aerobatics and it went into a spiral"

 PASSENGER SURVIVES R22 HELICOPTER CRASH INTO SEA AT NIGHT IN FNQ 

The passenger on board an R22 helicopter has survived a crash into the ocean north of Port Douglas - the passenger survived and swam ashore to raise the alarm - a search is now under way for the pilot

 Quoting the Media:-
"The Robinson R22 helicopter ditched into waters about 800 metres off the Noah Beach camping area ...the passenger (was) a 43-year-old Port Douglas man"

 VINTAGE TIGER MOTH EXTENSIVELY DAMAGED IN LANDING CRASH AT REDCLIFFE 

The pilot and passenger on-board a DH-82 Tiger Moth both escaped serious injury after the pilot of the vintage bi-plane lost directional control during the landing sequence with the aircraft ending up inverted on the tarmac at Redcliffe airport

 Quoting the ATSB:-
"During landing the pilot lost control of the aircraft resulting in a collision with the runway
The aircraft came to rest inverted and was substantially damaged
The pilot and passenger were uninjured
"
